Operating within the CTO domain, PSS reports directly to ING's Chief Technology Officer, ensuring strategic alignment and technological innovation.

The team
The Order Management team within CTO Payments & Settlement Services comprises dedicated professionals responsible for enhancing the Payments Order Management capabilities. Committed to driving excellence, the team collaborates to onboard new volumes into PSS Global solutions and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services offered. With a dozen Customer Journey Experts (CJEs) onboard, the team contributes to the development, integration, maintenance, and servicing of order management capabilities, ensuring seamless end-to-end solutions.

Job description
As a Customer Journey Expert (CJE) within the Order Management team, your primary focus will be managing the backlog and leading the squad working to onboard new tenants to the Order Management Platform. Your role as a Product Owner will require Agile/Product ownership experience in the area of payments, overseeing the order management functions during the onboarding process to PSS target solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Product Owner within the agile team, focusing on the successful onboarding of new tenants to the Order Management Platform.
  • Define detailed business requirements for product and service development, ensuring alignment with global usage perspectives and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Country and Product Leads to support objectives and planning initiatives.
  • Manage and prioritize backlog, supporting the development, implementation, and communication of the roadmap.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies, collaborating with Risk, Compliance & Legal stakeholders.
  • Drive seamless integration of solutions into the value chain, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain secure and flawless 24/7 operations, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidate characteristics:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field.

  • Experience as a product owner and 3+ years of experience in banking and payments.

  • Proficiency in and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Proactive, collaborative, and resilient with a knack for problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).

  • Analytical mindset, capable of making data-driven decisions.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to simplify solutions and processes.

  • Comfortable working in multidisciplinary, agile environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and drive results.

What we offer:

  • initial 12-month-assigment with extension possibility

  • 36 hour work week

  • hybrid working; transit and/or working from home allowance

  • salary range €5.060,00 - €8.100,00 gross per month (depending on experience)

  • holiday payment (8,33% on your gross annual income)
  • 25 paid holiday days (based on 40-hour week)

  • 13th month

  • full pension contribution
